Register To Vote
Mail or deliver the Voter Registration Application (below) and/or Party Affiliation Form (below) to the County Commissioner of Registration or Superintendent of Elections (see list). The Absentee Ballot Application (below) needs to be mailed or delivered to the County Clerks Office in the county where you reside (see list).

After opening the pdf, you have two options for completing the form:
A. Print out the form, fill it in by hand, and sign it. or
B. Enter your information directly into the fields on your computer screen, print out the completed form and sign it.
After completing and signing the form, mail or deliver it to your
County Commissioner of Registration or Superintendent of Elections

Vote by Mail Information
In New Jersey, any voter can now vote by mail for any election. You do not need a reason for an Absentee Ballot.
A voter may apply for an vote by mail/absentee ballot by completing an Absentee Ballot Application (see below) and mailing the application to their County Clerk by mail up to 7 days prior to the election. A voter may also apply in person to the County Clerk until 3:00 p.m., the day before the election. The County Clerk cannot accept faxed copies of an Absentee Ballot Application since an original signature is required.
